About Me

I began my career as a store manager for AT&T. As part of my responsibilities, I would review applicant resumes, interview and make hiring decisions. I repeated these responsibilities throughout my tenure at AT&T and later FedEx Office.  I bring almost 10 years experience with hiring people which helps me identify strong candidtes. 

In 2017 my professional confdidence took a dip as I tried and failed to find new career opportunities.  I hired a career coach who helped me regain confidence in my professional skills and my ability to get hired. Through the years I have used the skills my coach taught me to help friends and family improve their resumes, prepare for interviews and grow their careers.  My love of helping people grow inspired me to launch my own career coaching service- Grow with Fig. 

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCSB, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University.

When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my cat Blueberry, traveling and watching Broadway musicals.
